AFA 80 POTF HAN IN CARBONITE

So toward the end of Empire Strikes Back, Luke is haunted by visions of his friends peril in the Cloud City and despite Yodas warnings that Luke is not ready to face Vader (because Yoda is wrong so much) Luke ignores his master and leaves to help his friends. Captain Solo is then frozen in CARBONITE as a test to see if Luke would survive the freezing process. So the real question is….what would have happen if Luke fought Vader started to lose became frustrated during the battle and then pulled his blaster and lost. Then Bespin Luke would have been caught in the freezing chamber and would have been loaded up to Vader’s ship to be delivered to the emperor. So Luke would have been the second of the heroes encased in CARBONITE. This scenario is what led us to making him one of the first figures released.

One of the best of the Last 17! This was the other figure chosen after doing soft polls over the last few months as well as watching and monitoring the vintage figure trends on the Imperial Commissary Facebook page. Although he doesn’t have quite a cool alternate back story as Bespin Luke he was chosen because everyone loves the figure but we think that such a great helmet would look fantastic frozen in time in carbon freezing.
